The 9th China – Nordic Arctic Cooperation (CNARC) Symposium will be held this year from Oct 14-16 in Akureyri Iceland.

The 9th China – Nordic Arctic Cooperation (CNARC) Symposium will be held this year from Oct 13-15 in Akureyri Iceland. Submission of abstracts for oral presentations is now open.

With the successful operations of CNARC fellowship program for the past ten years, CNARC Secretariat is about to launch its Fellowship Program for Year 2024.
In this new round of application, fellowships shall be granted to 2 Nordic and 2 Chinese fellow candidates respectively, to advance their own research project that falls on CNARC’s research priorities, for a 1-2 month period in an institute within CNARC’s network：https://www.cnarc.info/members.

The 8th China – Nordic Arctic Cooperation (CNARC) Symposium will be held from 3 to 6 December 2023 in Guangzhou China. Registration is now open with the registration deadline 22 October 2023!

The 8th China-Nordic Arctic Cooperation Symposium is scheduled to be held in 2023. The exact date will be determined pending the development of the COVID 19 pandemic and related travel restrictions.

CNARC has its 10th anniversary in 2023. To celebrate the milestone, strengthen the outreach of the CNARC, and to support increased cooperation and research in the Arctic as per its mandate, the CNARC.info website has been given a complete overhaul.

As part of the Arctic Circle 2022 Assembly the China-Nordic Arctic Research Center - CNARC, The Polar Research Institute of China - PRIC ; The Icelandic Center for Research - RANNIS organised a session - INTERACTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT IN CHINA’S ARCTIC COOPERATION. The session was very well attended and sparked good discussion at the end.
