Kamrul Hossain is a Research Professor and the Director of the Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law (NIEM) at the Arctic Centre, and the Docent of Public International Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lapland. He is currently the UArctic Chair in Arctic Legal Research and Education, and leads the Thematic Network on Arctic Law.
